We are incredibly lucky! We have met the most interesting, and fun people on this journey. We are spending a week at an informal RV park east of Quartzsite with about 50 other people who have gathered for a good time. This includes music, adult games, adventures, fires, fireworks, great pot luck dinners, memories that will last our lifetime – and new friends to stay with as we travel.
One of our adventures was to an old copper mining mountain – thank you Bruce for doing the research. Five four-wheels vehicles traveling across the desert wending our way about dry washes to find the places to stop and hunt rocks.
