The Courtyard Gallery in Wenden, Arizona is amazing in so many ways. It is a repurposed motel. Different artists have rooms, some of which they live in, and display their artwork for sale. If you see my denim hat in other blog entries – I got it here.
We spent a couple of weeks at a friends place about 20 miles east of Quartzite, or about an hour west of Phoenix. Wenden is minutes from there. There was some traditional artwork that was really nice.
I, of course, was drawn to some of the more “interesting” pieces. Here are the photos – enjoy. Again, click on them for larger versions.
