Almost as soon I bought the camper I realized that it would need a new floor. There were some soft spots and the person who had installed the previous floor hadn’t done a good, or even, decent job. It was a masonite backed snap in floor and when it got wet it curled like crazy.
The floor came up easily and there was all the rotted subfloor – it was particle board over metal. The metal had held all the water and rotted the subfloor. I replaced all the rot – sealed the floor – and installed the new flooring.
I’m pleased with the results.
